MADE LONDON 2014
MADE LONDON is an annual event selling a fantastic range of the highest quality, original, contemporary craft and design in the stunning Sir John Soane church at One Marylebone (http://www.madelondon.org). This is one of my favourite events, the organisers manage to combine the highest standards with a friendly family atmosphere, so I was delighted to be selected for a return visit as places are hotly contested.
Selling takes place over three days in October and I arrived one morning surprised to find a camera crew at my stand. They interviewed me about my work and have just posted this short film on You Tube. It's good I had no warning as I am much happier behind the camera. Anyway for better or worse here is the result. I should point out the fairy lights, which are rather incongruous with my work, aren't mine! My stand was in the Mezzanine, one level above the Crypt, so there was no natural light and these lights are a permanent fixture...
